GTA & Walking Dead

Good evening, peeps!!! I did an entire episode of The Walking Dead, but as I began to edit it, I realized that if I posted it, The Llama's Moustache wouldn't be a "family-friendly gaming channel". With that said, there are a couple games that will never be on our channel. The Walking Dead for it's mature subject matter, gore, language, and all-around scariness. GTA (any of them) for it's entire concept. I recently purchased the game because Llama got the game a while back and I thought it would be fun to play with him, Badger, and Panda. I played by myself for a couple days before I just became very uneasy about it. The game is about killing, stealing, drug-dealing, and a whole slew of other horrendously not-nice acts. That's what the game is all about. If I - a 24-year-old - am uncomfortable with the game, I don't think children should be playing it. It's not a matter of how mature your child is because no child is mature enough to be forced into gameplay where they have to gun down dozens of police officers. That's not okay. The actions alone warrant banning, but the language is atrocious. Every word I can think of was used in the game and I only made it to the second part of the game. I don't think I've ever played a game that has made me this uncomfortable. I would never try to dictate what anyone does, says, thinks, or enjoys watching/playing, but I don't ever want to encourage the playing of games that do so much damage. I've never believed games or any form of entertainment could be damaging, but there is nothing productive or creative about GTA V. All it made me want to do was take a bath and re-evaluate how I interacted with the world around me.

GTA will never be on this channel. The Walking Dead will never be on this channel.

Channel Update

We have been recording and editing like crazy and will have many new videos in the coming days including more Agar.io, Blood of the Werewolf, The Walking Dead, and Shark Deathmatch. And that's just the Moustache-only videos.

Monthly Games

Good morning, peeps!!! As some of you may know Xbox live Gold members have access to free games every month. Last month we had the ability to get Metal Gear Solid V: Ground Zero and The Walking Dead: the Complete First Season. I wasn't a fan of MGS V because I really don't like being quiet and sneaky in games. That is more of Llama and Dingo's thing. They've both volunteered to get me passed that so I can just play without having to hide in bushes. Unfortunately my schedule didn't allow me to record The Walking Dead for October like I wanted to, but I haven't started playing it yet so I'll still try to record it.

November brings us two more games. The currently available game is DiRT 3. There is a lot that goes into DiRT 3 that I don't understand. It's a complicated process to choose a vehicle, but once you get passed that, the racing bit is actually really fun. On November 16th, we'll be able to download Dungeon Siege III. I've never heard of this game before, but it looks really cool. I'm excited about the online multiplayer feature so Llama, Dingo, and I can play.

I also purchased a new game last night. It's called Blood of the Werewolf. I love it, but I think I'm going to need some help on a certain point. Maybe I'll restart and record it. I haven't made up my mind yet. I also have Fable to play and a bunch of other stuff lined up. November is going to be a crazy month, peeps.
