Pinkerton Builds Preview

Moustache has been hard at work on Pinkerton in the last couple weeks, with the building of downtown Pinkerton and an entire street system. These are some of the random builds she has been inspired by and they'll all be featured in the next Pinkerton update video.

 

In honor of C2E2 and Batman V. Superman, she had to represent her champion.

The closest she could find to a St. Patrick's Day-themed My Little Pony.

She has made an entire building dedicated to her favorite member of the Suicide Squad.

Master Chief had to be included eventually.

The rainbow tower is pretty awesome.

Downtown Pinkerton?

Good afternoon, everyone! Pinkerton is getting a huge upgrade right now, including a downtown area and it has a lot to do with this photo of some amazing builds I found. They're spectacular. Kiddos to the original builders!

New Pinkerton Build

Moustache is back in Pinkerton and has decided to go big or go home. She found this build on Pinterest and decided to take a stab at it. She's been recording the whole time so you'll soon be able to check out her progress on this very large - still unnamed - build.

Rainbow Tower & Invitation

I have been working on the Rainbow Tower for months now and I have to admit it's because of my lack of focus that it took me so long. I've been playing a lot of Black Ops II and not much else. I finally finished the tower though and here it is.

Weekly Challenge: Boo Manor Completed

I worked my little tushy off on this place. Without further gilding the lily, ladies and gentlemen, here is Boo Manor:

The back left tower got horribly disfigured in an unfortunate Creeper accident and so I just rebuilt it, and it looks not okay.


PS - I just realized that the mote isn't completed in the pictures so I'll try to get that posted today or tomorrow. ;-)

Ginger Pig + Dingo

I got to introduce Dingo - my boyfriend - to Minecraft the other day while I finished off Boo Manor. He built Rapunzel's tower and accidentally killed Spartacus. R.I.P Spartacus. :-( I made the mistake of putting rails down inside Rapunzel's tower and all of a sudden he had a chaotic chicken train going on.

C2E2 Appreciation Build

Good morning, everyone. I was fortunate enough to go to C2E2 for the first time last weekend and it was incredible. Every aspect of it was wonderful and I thought I'd do some random builds to show my appreciation for the awesomeness that was C2E2. The first random build was a creeper in the middle of Pinkerton...

I'm already working on the third Weekly Challenge which is a castle-type building right next to Hotel During, the big building straight across from the creeper. I finished the creeper in about 20-25 minutes, but in about three hours I only got most of the face done on the castle. It's a big one this one. Since it's such a huge project and it's going to take longer than the big window tower thing (which I need to name) and Pinkerton High, I thought I'd just start posting progress pictures. So I have two buildings that I have to name and a building that I'm building, which also has to be named. It'll be a lot easier to identify the buildings as Pinkerton grows if we're not constantly saying "you know, that really big building with the windows".

Day 5 in Pinkerton: Hotel During

Good morning, everyone. Today we'd like to introduce one of the newest buildings in Pinkerton: Hotel During. Totally random name choice, by the way.

Here you can see our little farming area at the bottom and on the left you see the Weekly Challenge tower thing and the random building I built that really has no purpose, in the middle you see the hospital and police station, and on the left you can see Hotel During.

Day 4 in Pinkerton: PPD

The Pinkerton Police Department, ladies and gentlemen...

Weekly Challenge #1

     Good morning, everyone. Pinkerton is still under construction, but I haven't been able to really hunker down and work on it. Rest assured that it is still a work in progress and we haven't forgotten about it. The Pinkerton Police Department is up and now our lovely town has a hotel as well.
     I noticed this morning that the construction of Pinkerton and my random days with Donut Man, we don't really have anything else to post. So I've come up with an idea. I love looking at pictures of the amazing things people build on Minecraft and while I was looking through some yesterday I just really wanted to try to build some of them. In that same thought process, I decided that I'd try to build some of my favorites. I'm going to attempt to do a weekly challenge, but I do have a tendency to start something and then it just kind of sits there and gets dusty and lonely and sad. I'm going to start the Llama's Moustache's Weekly Challenge anyway.
     So here it is, the first challenge...

Day 3 in Pinkerton: Reception Overcrowding

Good morning, everyone. I'll be building a police station in Pinkerton today, but I thought I'd give you guys a little update on the happenings in Pinkerton over the weekend. Dr. Shenone has decided he wanted to look over the farm area instead so he ran away from the hospital, leaving these poor patients with this one creeper. Or maybe it's this one poor creeper with all of these patients, not really sure who's in danger here.

So stay tuned to see the Pinkerton Police Department. Tomorrow will be hotel-building day!

Meet Ginger Pig

 This is Ginger Pig, my Minecraft alter ego. The name came from one very energetic day of playing Angry Birds: Star Wars. One of the pigs looks to have a ginger moustache and eyebrows so naturally I chose to be that pig because I too have strawberry blond hair. So the whole time Llama, Llama Mama and I were playing we kept shouting "Gingah Pig!". I only have the basic Minecraft skins right now and who better to be than the beautiful Scotsman in the kilt with the red hair. I introduced him to Llama and The Badger and they both approved.

Day 2 in Pinkerton: Meet Dr. Shenone

Good evening, everyone. Moustache, here. Yesterday I promised you that I'd be posting about the attempted building of the hospital in Pinkerton. Well... I'm happy to report that it was a semi-success. And I didn't even have any help from Llama.

I made the reception area, complete with chairs and then made the upstairs with beds for all of the patients. The entire building was over-run by creepers, zombies, skeletons, spiders, and Mr. Enderman himself.

Dr. Shenone has quite a few patients already.

So Pinkerton Hospital is up and running... sort of. What does day 3 have in store? The Pinkerton Police Department. We'll see how well that goes.
